How to submit a Sell order
Navigate to the Trade screen by clicking on Trade button on top of the window.
Clicking on Options will reveal a list of options markets available to trade. Choose the market symbol you would like to trade on from the list.
In the following example we'll be Selling 0.0004 BTC Call option contracts with 31 Dec 2021 expiration and 70,000 USD strike price.
Click on the contract date. Check the strike price in middle column, scroll down to 70,000. Call options are listed on the left of strike price column.
Move the cursor to the left area of strike price and click on it to bring up the order window. Click on Sell tab to sell options. Alternatively, click on the red limit price to bring up the order window with the Sell tab and limit price pre-populated.
Enter the amount of contracts you would like to buy. Contracts can be fractioned to 4 decimal places, but the minimum value of the transaction is 1 USD. Click Sell button once you are ready. If you're selling to open, please note that you must meet the portfolio margin requirement (Margin Required) before your sell order will be accepted.
Immediately after the order has been submitted, you should be able to see the your position at the bottom window.
Any unfilled portion of your order will appear in the Open Orders tab.
Once the order is filled, the summary view changes to show the unrealized profit associated with that order. If the order is currently out of the money, the unrealized profit will be negative. Your account history will also be updated to show the aggregate realized and unrealized profit across all your open positions.
