How to submit a Buy order
Navigate to the Trade screen by tapping the lightning bolt icon.
To access other markets, make use of the new product switcher. On the trading dashboard, either press on the asset symbol (BTC/ETH) or drag it down to see the asset list. In this example, we will access the BTC market.
Tap on the "Trade" button.
Tap the Trade Options button.
In the following example we'll be Buying 0.0005 BTC Call option contracts with 30 Apr 2021 expiration and 72,000 USD strike price.
Toggle the Buy/Sell selector to "Buy" and the Call/Put selector as desired. The user interface's accents will change from green (Calls) to red (Puts) depending on the type of contract you select. Select your desired Expiration Date at the top of the screen to bring up the options chain screen. You can scroll up or down to see more strike prices. Each corresponding limit price (the highest ask price) is displayed in a box to the right of the strike price.
Tap on your desired strike price to bring up the order screen. Enter the amount of contracts you would like to buy. Contracts can be fractioned to 4 decimal places, but the minimum value of the transaction is 1 USD. Tap the Review button once you are ready.
This will bring up the order review screen. Swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to complete your order.
Congratulations! Your order has now been accepted. Tap the Done button to exit this screen.
Immediately after the order has been submitted, you should be able to see the unfilled order at the bottom of your Portfolio screen.
Once the order is filled, the summary view changes to show the unrealized profit associated with that order. If the order is currently out of the money, the unrealized profit will be negative. Your account history will also be updated to show the aggregate realized and unrealized profit across all your open positions.
Tapping on any of your open positions will allow you to view more details about the position.
