The following guide walks you through making a withdrawal in the PowerTrade app.
Specify the currency type
In the following example, we will withdraw 500 USDC.
To begin, go to your wallet screen and select the Coin Type that you intend to withdraw.
Select USDC from the list.
Tap on the "Withdraw" button.
Specify the withdrawal amount
Next, type in the amount you would like to withdraw. You can also opt to withdraw your full balance by tapping "MAX". Tap the Next button to proceed.
Adding a New Withdrawal Address
At this point, you will be prompted to select from a list of your approved withdrawal addresses. If you have not specified any approved withdrawal address yet, or if you intend to withdraw to an as-yet-unspecified withdrawal address, you will need to add a new withdrawal address before you can proceed. Tap on the "+" icon at the top right of the screen to begin.
Enter the address you wish to add. You can either paste it from your clipboard or use the QR code scanner by tapping the scanner icon on the right of the screen. We strongly discourage users from typing in addresses manually as this method is highly prone to error. On the next line, specify a name for the address. You can choose any name to enter in the free text form, so we encourage you to choose a name that's meaningful to you to minimize potential confusion in the future. As an example, we have named this address "Test withdrawal". Tap on the "Save Address" button to continue.
Note: If you have enabled 2FA on your account, you will be given a 2FA challenge at this point.
This will trigger an email to be sent to you. The email contains a magic link that is required to complete the process of adding a new withdrawal address. Tap the "Open Email App" to open your device's email client.
Open the email and tap on the "Confirm Withdrawal Address" button. You must do this on the same device where the PowerTrade app is installed in order for the magic link to work.
Once you've confirmed the wallet address, you should receive a separate email notification confirming that a new withdrawal wallet address was added.
You will be now taken back to your approved withdrawal address list. The most recently added address should now appear on the list.
Select an Approved Withdrawal Address
Tap on the approved withdrawal address that you intend to use and then tap on the Next button.
Check the Withdrawal Summary
This will bring you to a Withdrawal Summary page. Please take this opportunity to check that the withdrawal details are correct. The total amount at the bottom of the screen includes any transaction fees associated with the withdrawal transaction that will be charged once the transaction is confirmed. If you spot anything out of order, tap on the back button at the top left of the screen to go back to previous screens. When you are confident that the withdrawal details are correct, tap the Withdraw button at the bottom of the screen to proceed.
Note: If you have enabled 2FA on your account, you will be given a 2FA challenge at this point.
Email Confirmation
This will trigger an email to be sent to you. The email contains a magic link that is required to initiate the withdrawal transaction. Tap the "Open Email App" to open your device's email client.
Open the email and tap on the Confirm Withdrawal button. You must do this on the same device where the PowerTrade app is installed in order for the magic link to work.
Confirmation Screen
Once you've confirmed the withdrawal request, you will be shown this confirmation screen. Tap the Got It button to be brought back to your wallet screen.
Note: At this point, you have confirmed the withdrawal request and it is in the midst of being processed. This is not to be confused with confirmation on the blockchain, which comes after this.
Pending Requests
Pending withdrawal requests can be found on the relevant cryptocurrency wallet screen. In this example, we've requested a USDC withdrawal.
Once the withdrawal transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it will cease to appear under the Pending Requests header and instead appear under the History header.
